Born from Passion, Built on Craft
Giorgio Garden was born from a simple but enduring belief: every outdoor space has the potential to become something extraordinary. It was 1998 when Giorgio Ferretti, a young agronomist with soil-stained hands and an architect’s eye, began shaping gardens in the hills outside Florence.
With nothing more than a pair of shears, a secondhand truck, and an unshakeable passion for living landscapes, he turned overgrown terraces and neglected courtyards into green sanctuaries. Word spread quickly — within three years, Giorgio had assembled a team of dedicated craftspeople sharing his conviction that a well-tended garden is not a luxury but a way of life.

Who We Are
Today, Giorgio Garden is a family-run studio with fifteen specialists operating across Tuscany and beyond. Giorgio’s daughter Elena joined in 2015, bringing sustainable landscape architecture expertise that perfectly complements the company’s deep-rooted traditions.
Our Philosophy
We believe a garden should be an extension of the people who live in it. Sustainability is not a marketing word for us — it is an operating principle. We select native plants, design water-conserving irrigation, and avoid chemicals wherever alternatives work.
Our Promise
Every project carries a promise: we will be honest about what is possible, rigorous in our craftsmanship, and available long after the last plant is in the ground. We come back in spring to see how the wisteria has spread, and to sit with you in the garden we built together.
